Bus Stop Improvements – Phase 1 complete

What a difference a few days makes! As you recall, the bus stop area was a patch of dirt where no grass would attempt to grow! Today, the area has been surfaced with permeable paving, making the area more attractive as well as helping the environment. Permeable pavers allow for any rain water and runoff to be captured in the stone bed underneath. This helps the water to sink slowly into the ground instead of washing dirt into the storm drain system. Here are some pictures of the process:
